Luis Cobos has worked as an artist, composer, musical director, productor along with musical personalities that include: Plácido Domingo, Julio Iglesias, Pedro Vargas, José Carreras, Mecano, Antonio Banderas, Isabel Pantoja, Paco de Lucía, Ana Belén, Nino Bravo, Joaquín Sabina, Antonio Flores, and a great number of artists, groups and choirs.

Luis Cobos is a great connoisseur, communicator and lover of Mexican music. He has 3 records of popular and classic Mexican songs, Mexicano, Viva México y Va por México which were extraordinarily popular in Mexico. He has given more than 100 concerts in all of Mexico. In 2001, Luis received an acknowledgement by the Mexican Congress for his work promoting Mexican music. Luis Cobos shows this with satisfaction and pride.

On September 24th 1985, Luis Cobos conducted a concert with an audience of 82,000 people at the Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid and paid tribute to the victims of the September 19th earthquake.
