JON COLLINS, CHIEF EXECUTIVE, LIVE
Jon has worked in and around the UK live music and hospitality industries in policy, licensing and research roles for more than 25 years. As Chief Executive of LIVE, Jon seeks to represent the live music industry to Government and the wider policy making community. To do so, he draws on input from the 14 major associations that sit on LIVE’s board, from production, artists, managers and agents to venues, festivals, promoters and ticket retailers. This gives Jon access to an unrivalled network of industry experts. Beyond LIVE, Jon has served as Chairman of the Institute of Licensing (IoL) and the National Licensing Forum. As Patron of the IoL he remains committed to fostering mutual understanding and achieving recognised standards of professional development and competency in the field of licensing and related practice.
Prior to LIVE, Jon acted as lead author for the Greater London Authority’s Night Time Commission for London and as a senior adviser to UKHospitality with a particular focus on late night and music licensing issues. Jon is a lover of live music in all its forms, from intimate gigs to classical concerts, musical theatre to festivals.
